About the Company

The concern BOD Group launched activities in 1998 and opened the first production factory of recordable data carriers (CD/DVD) in the Baltic States.

As of 1999, most of CD discs issued in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are manufactured in Baltic Compact disc factory in Vilnius.

In 2002, a new CD disc replication factory was opened in Vilnius.

In May of 2005, a new industrial DVD disc replication line was launched in the Vilnius factory.

In the beginning of 2006, a new CD and DVD disc replication factory AS Baltic Disc was opened in the new BOD Group business and industrial facility in Laagri, right next to Tallinn.

Since 2006, the Baltic Disc factory has been the group’s springboard towards the Nordic Countries. Today, export into the Nordic Countries makes a remarkable part of Baltic Disc's turnover.

In the summer of 2011, the Vilnius factory started to manufacture Blu-ray discs as one of the first in the Baltic Sea region.
